1. Heat Management & Duty Cycle

  • Continuous Operation: This series is rated for short-to-medium burst operations. For continuous 24/7 activation, we recommend using a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) controller to reduce holding current after initial actuation. 

  • Surface Temperature: Normal operation may result in surface temperatures up to 50°C. Ensure adequate ventilation or heat-sinking if integrated into tightly sealed enclosures. 

2. Fluidic System Integrity

  • Filtration Requirements: To maintain the ≥200,000 cycle service life, ensure the fluid media is filtered to at least 50 microns to prevent debris from compromising the internal seal.

  • Pressure Spikes: While rated for 100 KPa, avoid sudden high-pressure surges (Water Hammer) by utilizing soft-start plumbing or bypass valves in high-flow systems. 

3. Electrical Integration

  • Polarity: As a DC solenoid, ensure correct wiring polarity to optimize response time and prevent back-EMF interference with sensitive control electronics.
