  • Technical Insights & Expert Q&A

Note from our R&D Director, James Chen:

“After 17 years in the micro-pump industry, we know that a 370A pump isn’t just about moving liquid—it’s about reliability in the real world. Whether it’s a high-traffic hospital or a luxury hotel, your dispenser shouldn’t quit when people need it most. Here’s how we’ve engineered the 370A to handle the tough stuff.”

How does the 370A handle the corrosive nature of alcohol-based sanitizers?

Expert Answer: It’s all about the “wet parts.” Most standard pumps fail because their internal seals (diaphragms) swell or crack when they hit 75% ethanol. For our 370A, we don’t use generic rubber.

We use high-grade EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) specifically sourced for chemical resistance. We also reinforced the pump head with medical-grade ABS plastic to ensure the housing doesn’t become brittle over time. If you’re running heavy sanitizers, this material combo is your best friend.

High-traffic areas mean the pump runs non-stop. How do you prevent motor burnout?

Expert Answer: Heat is the silent killer of micro-motors. To tackle this, we’ve optimized the internal brush structure to reduce friction and used high-purity copper windings.

This helps the 370A maintain a lower operating temperature even during “rush hour” (like a mall entrance at noon). We also calibrate the torque-to-speed ratio so the motor isn’t “overworking” to push the liquid, which effectively cuts down thermal decay by about 20% compared to generic 370 models.
