    Engineering Integration Notes

    1、Electrical Integration 

     

    • Plug-and-Play Connector: The valve comes pre-assembled with a standard HY-2.0 terminal and UL1095 28AWG Red/Black wires. PCB designers should include a matching HY-2.0 vertical or right-angle male header on the board for easy assembly. 

    • Coil Driving & Flyback Protection: As an inductive load, driving this solenoid requires a switching component (like an N-channel MOSFET or a BJT).Crucial: A flyback diode (freewheeling diode) must be placed in parallel with the valve coil on the PCB to protect the MCU/driver from high-voltage spikes when the valve is de-energized. 

    • Power Optimization (3.7V Version): For battery-powered massagers or medical devices, the DC 3.7V version draws approximately 66mA (0.20W). This low current draw allows it to be driven by highly compact, low-power SMD transistors.

     

    2、Firmware & Control Logic 

     

    • Fail-Safe Operation (Normally Opened): The valve is a 1-position 1-way normally opened (NO) valve. Firmware engineers must note that to hold air pressure in the system, the valve must be actively powered (Energized = Closed). In the event of a system crash or battery depletion, power is lost, and the valve will automatically open to vent the air. This is a critical safety feature for medical sphygmomanometers and massagers to prevent user injury from over-compression.

    •  Duty Cycle limits: The valve has been validated for a lifespan of ≥200,000 cycles using a specific testing pattern: 5 seconds ON, 5 seconds OFF. Firmware routines for cyclic massage rhythms should ideally respect this thermal dissipation window to guarantee maximum longevity.
